A balmy sunny afternoon for open day at Dallam House

Sunday was the annual open day for the gardens at Dallam House in Milnthorpe. The gardens are only open once a year, and this year the weather was perfect. The park, in contrast, is open to the public all year round. Home to a large herd of fallow deer, and situated above the estuary with the mountains as the back drop, it is a fabulous place to walk. The river running through the park is also popular with children for the traditional entertainment of feeding the ducks!
