A quick nod to winter before moving on to Spring

After a long break my blog is back, and before moving on to the wonders brought by spring and the heatwave last weekend, I thought I’d post a few of the stunning photos taken during our snowy winter. The cottages have stayed busy throughout with guests, who were treated to some of the most spectacular views both on the doorstep of the cottages and from the mountain tops. These photos were taken in Heversham, at Arnside estuary, from the Kirkstone Pass and Striding Ridge on Helvellyn.
